As early as the start of American Idol Season 8 road show auditions, I already have a favorite contestant. His name is Danny Gokey, the widower. I like him because he has an impressive voice; he was unforgettable during his first audition; he sang one of my most favorites songs Seal's Kiss From A Rose during Hollywood week solo; his group’s a capella version of Queen’s Somebody To Love was just awesome; he has a touching story; and he looks like an older and geekier version of cutie David Archuleta from Season7.

Casey because she’s overflowing with pop star potential and blessed with a smashing body http://www.caseycarlson.net/ . Adam because he looks like “Superman” Brandon Routh, only happier and gayer. Hahaha!
I hope I see more of these contestants (specially Gokey) in the next episodes.
