QuiƱones apologizes for retagging - INQUIRER.net, Philippine News for FilipinosOh no, you didn't.
My opinion on this ---
Dear Mr Quinones,
You cannot CANNOT re-tag, re-sell for 10 times more than the real price, and then apologize and wish that everything will go away. That is just not right. Ripping-off a customer, claiming credit for something you didn't design, and earning a huge profit off of it, is simply unforgivable. And therefore, as part of the buying public--- Apology NOT accepted.
Here's a suggestion, Mr Puey, why don't you carry a designer line called "Bobo by Puey Quinones" or "Bobong Puey Quinones"? You don't need a measuring tape to know that these labels fit you perfectly, don't you think? [Oh sorry, yeah, you don't.] Shame, shame, shame on you.
Dear Victimized Couple,
It's a shame that you have to go through this experience on an occasion that should have been your happiest. On the brighter side, this incident makes your wedding unforgettable, and that's not so bad. Just turn your back on this blood-sucking designer, move on, and learn from this experience. Don't let this ruin your special day, it's just not worth it!
Dear "Must-Buy-Designer/Signature-Stuff" People,
I dedicate this Inquirer article to you! This should be a lesson to all of you who cannot breathe without your LVs or RLs or HERMESes. You don't need to have a good designer or buy expensive signature stuff to look good. You just need to have a good sense of style. I've seen runway shows, and my God, I wouldn't be caught dead wearing those costume-y clothes! The trick is to have a good sense of personal fashion style so you can enhance your assets and work around your flaws. Who cares if it's DIY and not DKNY?
I have a female friend who buys clothes from local department store sales or from Divisoria even, and she always looks like a million bucks! She can pull off a P150 blouse bought out of a tiangge by accessorizing with scarves or beads. Definitely shows how style and class are not bought. But Mr Quinones wouldn't know what class means now, would he?
